This is a place of becoming. Here, you’re invited behind the veil to explore the processes through which my work is born.

Watch as sparks of ideas gather, evolve, and slowly take form, sometimes blossoming into complete series, and other times resting quietly until their moment arrives.

You’ll witness each stage of the journey, from the first whisper of a concept to its final breath on the canvas. Nothing here is polished for perfection. It is honest, unfolding, and alive.

Enter with curiosity and be warned: it will be beautifully raw.

Project: Magic, Moss and Mountains

This concept has been buzzing about in my brain for a few months now. The idea of sharing the wonderment of walking amongst the waterfalls, moss laden trees and logs and the insanely beautiful views from the mountains here in Tasmania. I have already sketched out a few thumbnails.

Project : Magical Beasts

I am always on the hunt for beasts from the realm of imagination. Some days I am not so sure they only dwell there in the depths of our minds. Some days I think they are peering at us from behind the lichen, out from under the waterfalls and deep down the forest paths we walk. If you stay still long enough, you'll feel them too.

The Mushroom Project

You would not believe just how many photos of mushroom and fungi I have sitting and waiting to go onto canvas! This has been a long time passion of mine. Don't ask me what any of them are called, I have no idea. I just love them all!

Project : Tasmanian Dragons

This concept has been ruminating ever since I arrived here in Tassie. From the ragged cliffs towering above the ocean to the dark mossy forests, I see Dragons. Blending ever so cleverly into the landscape. Not so cleverly if you pause and look hard enough. I am betting you'll see them try blend in around you amongst rocks and bolders, massive trees and atop mountains. I have so many I want to capture on canvas!

Project: Turbo Chook Mural

You have to admit, this is already making you smile. Wait till you find out that I am adding goblin trainers and jockeys! And, on a public wall no less! This project may well spill over into a series of paintins and a potential exhibition! Haha!

Project: To Be Confirmed

Yes, there are a million more ideas just waiting to be realised and put down into a sketchbook. Or possibly even a collaboration.... Stay tuned!
